What are Window Regulators?

Window regulators are responsible for moving car windows up and down, and there are two main types: power window regulators and manual window regulators.

Power Window Regulator: This type of window regulator requires an electric window regulator motor to provide the necessary power and force for moving the window. When you press the power window switch, the electric motor activates, driving the window regulator mechanism to raise or lower the window glass smoothly.

Manual Window Regulator: In contrast, manual window regulators do not have an electric motor. Instead, they rely on a handle or crank that the driver or passenger turns to roll the window up and down manually. The manual regulator mechanism translates the rotary motion of the crank into vertical movement, allowing the window to be adjusted.

Both types of window regulators serve the same purpose of controlling the movement of car windows, but they differ in the way they are operated. Power window regulators offer more convenience, as they can be controlled with a simple press of a button, while manual window regulators require manual effort to adjust the window position.

In 2023, Wei Liang established a stamping factory, expanding operations with a second plant equipped with 14 advanced stamping machines. Our facility is geared towards efficient production of high-quality components, upholding Wei Liang's dedication to innovation and precision in the industry.

Wei Liang has roughly 2000 car doors set aside for testing purposes. Before going into mass manufacturing, all Wei Liang goods must go through a rigorous testing routine that includes 15,000 cycles within a car door. This stringent testing ensures the quality and durability of our products.
